Mario's pizzeria puts olive pieces along the outer edge (periphery) of the crust of its 18-inch (diameter) pizza. Assuming that

the pizza is cut into eight slices and that there is at least one olive piece per inch of crust, find how many olive pieces you will get in one slice of pizza.

Answer:

Radius= 9 in.

Circumference= 2π*9=56 (rounded)

So you'd get at least 56 pieces in the crust of the pizza.

Divide the answer by 8 to get the average number of piece per slice.

56/8

= 7 pieces approximately.

thenks and pls mark me brainliestt :))

Graph the lines by making a table. a. y = 2x = 4
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

Given y-2x=4 →y=2x+4

Table of Solutions

xy = 2x + 4(x, y) * P * o * i * n * t

0 y = 2(0) + 4 = 4 (0,4)A(0,4)

2 y = 2(-2) + 4 = 0 (-2, 0) B(-2, 0)

1y = 2(1) + 4 = 6(1, 6) C(1, 6)

Plotting the points A, B and C on the graph paper and joint them to get the straight line BC as shown in graph sheet. This line is the required graph of the equation y - 2x = 4 .

(i) Plot the point (2, 8) on the graph paper. From the graph it is clear that the point (2, 8) lies on the line.

Checking algebraically: On substituting (2, 8) in the

given equation, we get LHS y-2x=8-2×2=8-4-4 RHS, So (2, 8) is a solution

(ii) Plot the point (4, 2) on the graph paper. You fin that (4, 2) does not lie on the line.

Checking algebraically: By substituting (4, 2) in the given equation we have

LHS =y-2x=2-2×4-2-8--6

=RHS, So (4, 2) is not a solution.

1. sqrt5 + 6sqrt5 = (1+6)sqrt5 = 7sqrt5 (answer is D)
2. 4sqrt2 - 7sqrt2 = (4-7)sqrt5 = -3sqrt2 (answer is B)
 3. 3sqrt7 - sqrt63 = 3sqrt7 - sqrt7 * sqrt9 = 3sqrt7 - 3sqrt7 = 0 (answer is D)
 4. -6sqrt10 + 5sqrt90 = -6sqrt10 + 5*(sqrt10 * sqrt9) = -6sqrt10 + 5*(3sqrt10)
= -6sqrt10 + 15sqrt10 = 9sqrt10 (answer is A)
 5. sqrt6*(sqrt 2 + sqrt 3) = sqrt12 + sqrt18 = 2sqrt3 + 3sqrt2 (answer is D)
