A circle with area 81 has a sector with a central angle of 120 what is the area of the sector
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

  27

Step-by-step explanation:

The central angle of 120° is 1/3 of the entire circle of 360°, so the sector area is 1/3 of the circle area:

  1/3×81 = 27

The sector area is 27.

Short leg = 18 Long leg= 24 Hypotenuse= 30 My calculations were simple trial and error. I started with a trial of 10 for the short leg to begin with, averaging and estimating the appropriate proportions based off 6 additional increments. Sorry I don't have an algebraic method for you. Simplify the expression 6C2
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

^6C_2=15

Step-by-step explanation:

Recall the formula:

^nC_r=\frac{n!}{(n-r)!r!}

We apply this formula to simplify ^6C_2

This implies that:

^6C_2=\frac{6!}{(6-2)!2!}

^6C_2=\frac{6!}{4!2!}

^6C_2=\frac{6\times5\times4!}{4!\times 2\times1}

This simplifies to

^6C_2=\frac{6\times5}{2\times1}

^6C_2=\frac{3\times5}{1\times1}=15
