Answer:

child's is $14

adult is $23

Step-by-step explanation:

3c + 1a = 65

3c + 3a = 111

a = 65-3c

3c + 3(65-3c) = 111

3c + 195 -9c = 111

-6c = -84

c = 14

3(14) + a = 65

42 + a = 65

a = 23

Which point-slope equation represents a line that passes through (3,-2) with a slope of -4/5?
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

y + 2 = -4/5 (x - 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

y - y1 = m (x - x1). Put in your points for y1 and x1, and always remember to flip your signs.

unfortunately, I don't know why that isn't one of your answers, so sticking with the positive 2 I would choose y+2=- (- 3) if I were you. Looks like the -4/5 disappeared somehow?

Hope this helps

Jon has to pay $7.50 admission for the skating rink and $1.50 per hour to rent rollerblades. Write an equation for the cost (y)
Nata [24]

Answer:

y = 7.50 + 1.50x

Step-by-step explanation:

The admission costs $7.50 and after x hours Jon has to pay $1.50*x. Then the cost y in dollars is

y = 7.50 + 1.50x where x is the number of hours.

How do you describe the function of a graph?
Valentin [98]

The graph of a function is the set of all those point which when placed on a graph represents the data in unorganised manner.

In order to describe the function of a graph the first thing that we do is to stabilize a relationship between the co-ordinate axes.

We closely observe and analyse the change of one Axis with the changes of other. After this step we make a set of all the possible points which are describing the function properly within the range and domain of the function. One Axis represents the domain and the other access represents the range.

After this we finally conclude that the function of a graph is set of all those points which represents and shows the data on a diagram in a well organized and understandable manner.
