1.) A step-up transformer increases the voltage of the current as it leaves the power plant. After the voltage has been increased, less current travels through the high-voltage power lines. This reduces the amount of power that is lost due to resistance of the power lines.

2.) They have electric transformers, which use electromagnetic induction to change the voltage of the current. Some transformers increase the voltage; others decrease the voltage. Therefore, one or more step-down transformers are needed to decrease the voltage of current before it enters homes.

Hope this up a little

Transcription is the synthesis of ______
crimeas [40]

Answer:

RNA

Explanation:

Transcription is the second stage of central dogma of life (1. replication, 2. transcription, 3. translation).

During transcription, DNA (which is already replicated) is transcribed to RNA. This is because, the genetic information is present within nucleus and thus it is required to be transported outside the nucleus in order to perform key enzymatic functions. Therefore, transcription takes place and the genetic information travels outside in the form of RNA, where ribosomes decode this message to form proteins. The ribosomes make proteins (translation) required for enzymatic functions.
