Could someone please help me with this
marshall27 [118]
Well if 1/16 costs $2 then you do 16*2 to find the cost of 16/16 aka 1 pound. 16*2=32 so the answer is x = 32.

Complete the perfect square v^2-2v=3
Dmitriy789 [7]
V² - 2v = 3
v² - 2v - 3 = 0
v = -(-2) +/- √((-2²) - 4(1)(-3))
                    2(1)
v = 2 +/- √(4 + 12)
                2
v = 2 +/- √16
           2
v = 2 +/- 4
           2
v = 2 + 4    v = 2 - 4
         2                2
v = 6          v = -2
      2                 2
v = 3          v = -1

Is this a multiple choice question? Or do I have to individually fill in the places that will make a cube? If so what is the bes
GrogVix [38]

Remark

The best way would be to make a duplicate of this page and cut out the shapes. Then find out which ones fold into a cube. It would also be the most time consuming.

The second best way is to imagine how each flat surface would fold to make a cube. I think C would and D would. I don't think the other 2 would.
