You want to find how many pizzas he can eat in an hour, and you know that he can eat 1/5 pizza in 1/2 hour (30 mins) so you have to multiply 1/2 by 2 to get a whole hour, and whatever you do to the time, you have to do to the amount of pizza he ate. Since you multiplied the time by 2, you have to multiply the amount of pizza he ate (1/5) by 2. 1/5x2=2/5. Mike can eat 2/5 pizza in an hour. Remember, it’s pizza as in singular. Don’t add an s to make it plural.

I’m trying to explain this at your level so that it doesn’t seem like I’m talking to a 3 year old but it’s also not to complicated :)
