Also the Europeans may say that what they are doing is exploring or looking for India. While the Taino will say that they are taking over their land and rights. Also the way that they ate things such as potatoes may differ. There were different perspectives that the Europeans had about the Taino and vice versa. You can relate to this somewhat by thinking you went exploring and come across this area of land where people are and you decide to explore it.
