Using a chemical equation to find moles of product from moles...
kaheart [24]

Answer: 0.600 moles

Balanced eqn for decomposition of the rocket fuel:

2 NH4ClO4 (s) ----> N2 (g) + Cl2 (g) + 2 O2 (g) + 4 H2O (g)

Since, 2 moles of NH4ClO4 produces 2 moles of O2 gas, this means that 0.6 moles of NH4ClO4 will produce 0.6 moles of O2 gas

Calcium forms ions with a charge of +2. Iodine forms ions with a charge of -1. Which of the following would represent an ionic c
Stolb23 [73]
Well you know that you have to balance out the equation to 0. So if I is -1 and Ca is +2 you know that I had to equal to -2. So you can do that by having two of them. So Ca=+2 and I2=-2 so CaI2 would equal 0 meaning that would be the correct answer. Hope that I explained that correct :)

Which of the following molecules can be used in catabolic reactions to generate the carbon backbones required for gluconeogenesi
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

The correct option is A

Explanation:

Some amino acids, called glucogenic amino acids, when catabolized convert there carbon backbones to tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle intermediates. These intermediates can be subsequently metabolized into carbon dioxide and water with the release of ATP or the formation of glucose (known as gluconeogenesis.

All amino acids (with the exception of leucine and lysine) are glucogenic and can thus generate the carbon backbones required for gluconeogenesis. Thus, the correct option is a.
