Rudolph will spend $150 on tickets to the Reindeer Games. Reserved seat tickets cost $25 and general admission
Viktor [21]

The equation that describes the number of tickets Rudolph can buy will be 25r + 10g = 150.

  • Let the reserved tickets be represented by r.
  • Let the general admission be represented by g.

Therefore, the equation will be 25r + 10g = 150.

The number of tickets that Rudolph can buy if he buys only reserved seat tickets will be:

= $150 / $25 = 6

The number of tickets that Rudolph can buy if he buys only general admission tickets will be:

= $150 / $10 = 15

<h3>Answer:  {4, 14, 20}</h3>

Don't forget about the curly braces.

===========================================================

Explanation:

The upside down "U" symbol means "intersect". We're looking for where the two sets intersect or overlap. In other words, we're looking for all of the values are in both sets at the same time. It might help to draw out the Venn diagram (see the image attachment below).

The numbers 4, 14, and 20 are found in both set A and set B at the same time. Therefore, A \cap B = \{4, 14, 20\}. Something like the value 7 is only found in set A, but not in set B. So we'll ignore that value. Similar things happen with 10 and 17 for set A, and also 1 and 9 for set B.

So that's why the answer you type in is {4, 14, 20}. The curly braces are there to tell the reader we're dealing with a set of values.

How many centimeters are there in 1 yard if there are 2.54 centimeters per inch?
tino4ka555 [31]
So if there are 2.54 cm in an inch that means that 1cm times 2.54=1 inch

there are 12 inches in a foot and 1 inch=2.54 centimter so
12 times 1 inch or 12 times 2.54=30.48 centimeters

there are 3 feet in a yard so we take the previous measurements and multiply

30.48cm in a foot times 3 feet in a yard or 30.48 times 3=91.44 cm in a yard

if you want to do it the long way, you can multiply 2.54 with 12 with 3 and get      the same answer 91.44 cm in a yard
