Answer:

50 minutes for its full power

Step-by-step explanation:

1/3=20 mins

20 mins=2/5 of battery

2/5x2= 4/5

4/5=40 mins

4/5+1/5 = 5/5 of battery

1/5=10 mins

so 40 mins+10 mins= 50 mins

Alja [10]

The white Christmas tree is 7.55m

Green Christmas tree is twice as tall as white Christmas tree: 7.55 * 2 = 15.1m

High golden Christmas tree: 15.1m - 0.454m = 14.646m

The total height of 3 Christmas trees is: 7.55m + 15.1m + 14.646m = 37.296m

Choose: A 37.296m

How do I find the area of this shape
vazorg [7]
There's two ways, you can either multiply 11 and 7 to get 77 and then divide by 2, OR, you can divide 11 by 2 and get 5.5 and multiply that by 7, hope this makes sense, if you don't understand just comment and I'll explain it more :)

1.Solve the equation. Check for extraneous solutions.
elena55 [62]
Okay so I did the math.

1. Two solutions were found :
z=-1
z=2/3
Step 1 :Rearrange this Absolute Value Equation

Absolute value equalitiy entered
      |2z-3| = 4z-1

Step 2 :Clear the Absolute Value Bars

Clear the absolute-value bars by splitting the equation into its two cases, one for the Positive case and the other for the Negative case.

The Absolute Value term is |2z-3|

For the Negative case we'll use -(2z-3)

For the Positive case we'll use (2z-3)

Step 3 :Solve the Negative Case

      -(2z-3) = 4z-1

     Multiply
      -2z+3 = 4z-1

     Rearrange and Add up
      -6z = -4

     Divide both sides by 6
      -z = -(2/3)

     Multiply both sides by (-1)
      z = (2/3)
     Which is the solution for the Negative Case

Step 4 :Solve the Positive Case

      (2z-3) = 4z-1

     Rearrange and Add up
      -2z = 2

     Divide both sides by 2
      -z = 1

     Multiply both sides by (-1)
      z = -1
     Which is the solution for the Positive Case
Step 5 :Wrap up the solution

z=2/3
z=-1

2. -6 < x < 26/3

Step 1 :Rearrange this Absolute Value Inequality

Absolute value inequalitiy entered
      |3x-4|+5 < 27

Another term is moved / added to the right hand side.

      |3x-4| < 22

Step 2 :Clear the Absolute Value Bars

Clear the absolute-value bars by splitting the equation into its two cases, one for the Positive case and the other for the Negative case.

The Absolute Value term is |3x-4|

For the Negative case we'll use -(3x-4)

For the Positive case we'll use (3x-4)

Step 3 :Solve the Negative Case

      -(3x-4) < 22

     Multiply
      -3x+4 < 22

     Rearrange and Add up
      -3x < 18

     Divide both sides by 3
      -x < 6

     Multiply both sides by (-1)
     Remember to flip the inequality sign
      x > -6
     Which is the solution for the Negative Case

Step 4 :Solve the Positive Case

      (3x-4) < 22

     Rearrange and Add up
      3x < 26

     Divide both sides by 3
      x < (26/3)

     Which is the solution for the Positive Case

Step 5 :Wrap up the solution

    -6 < x < 26/3

Solution in Interval Notation

    (-6,26/3)

A fisherman uses a spring scale to weigh a tilapia fish. He records the fish weight as a kilograms and notices that the spring s
belka [17]

Answer:

k = \frac{980a}{b}

Step-by-step explanation:

Fisherman noticed a stretch in the spring = 'b' centimetres

Weight of the fish = a kilograms

If force applied on a spring scale makes a stretch in the spring then Hook's law for the force applied is,

F = kΔx

Where k = spring constant

Δx = stretch in the spring

F = weight applied

F = mg

Here 'm' = mass of the fish

g = gravitational constant

F = a(9.8)

  = 9.8a

Δx = b centimetres = 0.01b meters

Therefore, 9.8a = k(0.01b)

k = \frac{9.8a}{0.01b}

k = \frac{980a}{b}

Therefore, spring constant of the spring will be determined by the expression, k = \frac{980a}{b}
