Explanation:

The bond between two oxygen atoms is covalent (covalent bonding is bonding between Non metals (the electrons are shared)).

The bond between the Na and Cl (NaCl) is ionic (ionic bonding is bonding between a metal (in this case the Na) and a non metal (the Cl). This type of bonds deals with the metal losing electrons and the non metal gaining electrons. The metal therefore become positively charged (so it becomes ionic) and the non metals gain electrons and become negatively charged (also becomes ionic/ forms an ion). The opposite charges attract each other and this is why they bond.

What is the molarity of a solution prepared by dissolving 2.5 grams of LiNO3 in sufficient water to make 60.0 mL of solution?
Murrr4er [49]

Answer: hope this helps

To make molar NaCl solutions of other concentrations dilute the mass of salt to 1000ml of solution as follows:

0.1M NaCl solution requires 0.1 x 58.44 g of NaCl = 5.844g.

0.5M NaCl solution requires 0.5 x 58.44 g of NaCl = 29.22g.

2M NaCl solution requires 2.0 x 58.44 g of NaCl = 116.88g.

Describe an experience you've had making or building something where the amount of each ingredient or building block came in fix
nignag [31]
Baking a cake is an example of making something where the ingredients must be in fixed ratios. Recipes call for specific ratios of ingredients in order to cook properly, and when a recipe for a cake is modified to feed greater or fewer people the ratio remains the same as the original recipe.

NH4+H2O →NH3+H3O

Which one is acting weaker base?
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

NH3

Explanation:

In solution, they are in equilibrium. NH4+ acts as a bronsted Lowry acid and donates an H to become NH3, and NH3 acts as a bronsted lowry base and accepts an H. In this pair, NH3 is a weak base, which gets its basic character due to the presence of lone pair of nitrogen and its ability to donate it.
