Why do you think Emma Lazarus’ poem was chosen to be placed on the Statue of Liberty? Use complete sentences and paragraph form

in your answer.
“The New Colossus” by Emma Lazarus
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

This isn't an ABC or D thing.

The Libertarian Party is the third largest political party in the United States after the Democratic and Republican parties. It was found in 1971 by David Nolan and promotes civil liberties, lassiez-faire capitalism, non-interventionism, and shrinking the size of the government.

Many support ideas of taking government out of issues of abortion, gay marriage, gun ownership, deregulating the health care industry, and cutting all taxes.
