Carbon dioxide. We read about the excess of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and now it may be influencing our climate. But the
oceans currently absorb about a third of human created a carbon emissions about 22 million times a day. The oceans have always been a carbon dioxide store house as the illustration shows. But this huge influx of carbon is changing the oceans. What is one change that would expect to happen
One change that would expect to happen the increase in pH of ocean water because carbondioxide gas is dissolved in water make it acidic. This acidic water greatly affect the marine animals such as oysters and corals whose shell is dissolved due to acidic nature of water so we can say that carbondioxide gas increases the pH of ocean water.
It is apart of cellular DNA an ATP, and is a major component of bones and teeth, it is often only available in limited quantities in the the environment.
