Only a few people act rationally for the standard model to hold. One good example to explain it is if some money is left on the table, the few people who act rationally (selfishly) will definitely take advantage of the irrationality of other people. Hence, they will take the money that's on the table.

Roberto has been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder and is about to begin treatment. what type of treatment will proba
il63 [147K]
Hey there!

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is also known as OCD. It can make people unnaturally anxious that things have to be perfect, and they can get worried. For example, their papers on their desk must be perfectly organized, and someone with OCD might spend hours making sure this is the case.

A lot of times, people get therapists and go to a psychiatrist or behavioral therapy, to talk about it, or get medication. You can learn to live your life with OCD and control it through these types of things.

The most effective for Roberto will probably be medications like antidepressants. They can ease his mind, and let him sleep when he's stressed.

Hope this helps!

What lasting impact did Reformation have on the Church, Europe and the Americas?
eduard

Answer:

Ultimately the Protestant Reformation led to modern democracy, skepticism, capitalism, individualism, civil rights, and many of the modern values we cherish today. The Protestant Reformation increased literacy throughout Europe and ignited a renewed passion for education. The Reformation seemed to lessen the opportunity for peasants to challenge their place in the class structure. Middle class members were more able to challenge the authority of the church; they took Luther's ideas of free-thinking and grasped the opportunity to have more control over their religious practices.
