Why was Kashmir so important to India and Pakistan?

Kashmir's water resources are the primary resource value in the region. As of 2014, Pakistan is facing water scarcity. Kashmir has rich rivers, glaciers and other water resources. India is building hydroelectric plants on some of the rivers in areas it controls, which provide valuable electricity. Due to its mountainous nature, Kashmir also provides high ground for military conflicts, and some important supply routes run through it.<span>The dispute over Kashmir has been dividing India and Pakistan since the nations were first freed from British rule. Jammu and Kashmir state, the India-controlled portion of the region, has a majority Muslim population like Pakistan. India and Pakistan are both nuclear powers and have been in conflict since they gained independence in 1947. They have come dangerously close to nuclear warfare at times, and their inability to work together as allies contributes to the instability of the region. Finding a diplomatic solution to the dispute over Kashmir could significantly repair relations between the two countries, which may have positive implications for peace in South Asia and the Middle East. hope it helps :)

blondinia [14]

Sometimes a homeostatic imbalance occurs when a variable normally controlled by negative feedback is instead controlled by positive feedback.

a. true

Homeostasis is any self-regulating technique by the way which an organism has a tendency to hold balance at the same time as adjusting to conditions that are nice for its survival. If homeostasis is successful, lifestyles continue; if it is unsuccessful, it results in a disaster or death of the organism.

eating, consuming, and even simple breathing can introduce indigestible and even risky materials into the frame. The frame continues homeostasis with the aid of putting off these substances via the urinary and digestive systems

Homeostasis may be motivated through both inner or current situations (instrinsic factors) or external or environmental situations (extrinsic factors) and is maintained by many unique mechanisms.

Explanation:

Habitat is a place where animals live and sustain their lives. In habitat what role they play is known as ecological niche. Now a day with rapid urbanization, deforestation animals are steadily losing their habitats at a large extent and roaming around in search of a new home.

For that reason they are becoming endangered and gradually extinct. In search of a shelter they are rushing towards city from forest and entering into the public locality in search of food. When people encroach into their shelters their habitats become fragmented means not consolidated.
