Hi, i'm not sure if you still need the answer but i'll still try to help.

<span>so to work out this question, you must find out how many fans will be packed in 8 hours. </span>

<span>you know: </span>
<span>32 fans / hr </span>

<span>to find this: </span>
<span>= 32 x 8 (multiply by 8 because you have an 8 hour shift) </span>
<span>= 256 </span>

<span>then: </span>
<span>= 1483 - 256 (original - 8h shift fans) </span>
<span>= 1227 </span>

<span>therefore, 1227 fans will be left in the warehouse at the end of your 8 hour shift.</span>

What is the answer to this math question?
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

The answer is option 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

First we have to find the area of both rectangle and triangle :

Rectangle,

area = base \times height

Let base = 9,

Let height = 3,

area = 9 \times 3 \\ area = 27 \:  {m}^{2}

Triangle,

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

Let base = 3,

Let height = 3,

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \times 3 \\ area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 9 \\ area =  \frac{9}{2}  \\ area = 4.5 \:  {m}^{2}

Lastly, in order to find the shaded region you have to substract the area of triangle from the area of rectangle :

area = 27 - 4.5 \\ area = 22.5 \:  {m}^{2}

A semicircle has an area of 76.97 squared km. Find it’s radius
shtirl [24]

Answer:

7 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute:

The equation for area of a semi-circle is \frac{r^{2}\pi }{2}

A =  \frac{r^{2}\pi }{2}

76.97 =  \frac{r^{2}\pi }{2}

Multiply by 2 on both sides:

2(76.97) = ( \frac{r^{2}\pi }{2})2

153.94 = r^{2} \pi

Divide by pi on both sides:

153.94 = r^{2} \pi

/pi           /pi

49.03 ≈ r^{2}

Find the square root:

\sqrt{49.03} =\sqrt{r^{2} }

7 = r
