Carla is riding a motorcycle across the country. After 4 hours, she is 600 miles from Denver. After 8 hours, she is 320 miles from Denver. What is the total distance, in miles, to Denver from where Carla started riding?

If at 4 hours the distance away from Denver is 600 miles and after another 4 hours the distance is 320 miles. If every 4 hours they gain 280 miles then at the starting point there was 880 miles.
