This particular bug is suited to it's habitat due to the fact that their unusual movements may help break up soil and when the roundworms die their body stays present in the soil. The body would then decompose in the Earth's soil providing many beneficial elements such as nutrients. Both of these actions help fertilize the soil and make it better for us to use. </em>
