What did Helsenberg's Uncertainty Principle show about electrons?
DanielleElmas [232]
The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle states that it is impossible to determine simultaneously both the position and the velocity of a particle. The detection of an electron, for example, would be made by way of its interaction with photons of light.

What are the mass number of first 20 elements ?
skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

The atomic mass (mₐ or m) is the mass of an atom. Although the SI unit of mass is the kilogram (symbol: kg), atomic mass is often expressed in the non-SI unit atomic mass unit (AMU) or unified mass (u) or dalton (symbol: Da), where 1 AMU or 1 u or 1 Da is defined as 1⁄12 of the mass of a single carbon-12 atom, at rest. The protons and neutrons of the nucleus account for nearly all of the total mass of atoms, with the electrons and nuclear binding energy making minor contributions.

What do we call the amount of energy required to change from a liquid to a gas?
rewona [7]
Hello!

When something is a liquid then turns to a gas, this is known as evaporating so we would call it the heat of evaporation or also known as latent heat. Just remember liquid to gas is vapor!

I hope this helped!

How many molecules are in 48 grams of oxygen gas?
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

Since oxygen (O) has an atomic mass of 16 g, oxygen gas (O2) has a molecular mass of 2 x 16 = 32 g. We need to convert the given amount of oxygen gas to moles and this can be done by dividing the given mass by the molecular weight of oxygen gas. Hence, moles of oxygen gas = 48 g / 32 g/mole = 1.5 moles.
