How to write a axexes paragraph
STALIN [3.7K]
Assertion: - The assertion (or topic sentence) states the specific arguable point you will make in the paragraph. - Moreover, the assertion connects the paragraph to your thesis (claim). - Generally, assertions should go at the beginning of the paragraph (the first sentence, or – if there's a transition sentence – the second). - Assertions must be arguable – the point that YOU are making about something. eXample: - The examples are the evidence that supports (or "proves") your assertion. - These could be a direct quote from the text, a detailed description of a visual object, data, etc. - Examples should be introduced and briefly contextualized. Explanation: - Examples NEVER speak for themselves: you must provide explanations, which clarify how and why the evidence relates to your assertion and subsequently your central claim. - For instance, in a textual analysis, an explanation of a quote pulls out particular words, images, references, etc., from the example and shows how these support the assertion. - Explanation of examples and data outline the reasoning that logically links the evidence to the assertion. Significance: -If you simply state, support and explain the assertions, your reader may respond with indifference unless you also tell them why they should care by showing the significance. - Statements of significance anticipate and answer the question "So What?" In other words, why is the point made in the paragraph important in light of your thesis? - Providing significance is crucial to making an argument that says something, has a purpose, or is interesting.

If a football quarterback had a really really good night and threw over 15 perfect passes to score touchdowns. What would you do
zubka84 [21]

Answer:

Depends who is the Quarterback and what team he is on, what coach and staff are with him, and the mechanics, and talent, as well as luck.

Explanation:

We can compare by what QB it is, and if a new qb, then it can be a future star.

Lets give an example

Patrick Mahomes vs Zach Wilson

Mahomes is the Chiefs QB, and we would not be surprised if he would be able to do the 15 perfect passes, because he won an MVP and won a Super Bowl.

Zach Wilson is a rookie qb this year on the Jets. All qbs we have seen make mistakes. If he does the 15 perfect passes, which a rookie could, then watch his stock.

Any other QB as well.

Next. the coach and staff.

Lets do Pats and Rams.

So Mac Jones (a rookie on the Patriots) vs Matt Stafford (Rams new QB)

the Pats Bill Belicheck is a good coach, Josh McDaniels is a good coordinator, and the staff is not bad/.

The Rams have McVay, and Snead. and are not bad either.

Both QBs are good as well. Now the practices and drills. Designed by the Coach and Staff make a difference. Easy obstacles led to easy attempts, but not confident in much difficult obstacles (i.e Matchups)

Jones had a good game vs the Chargers this year and won in LA.

Stafford beat the reigning Super Bowl Champ Bucs this year in LA.

So that makes a difference.

Then the mechanics. The more the practice the more the improvement and adjustments made to help.

Now the talent, and that is different with everyone. So that is a factor.

Now the luck. Luck is another key in sports. Some by toss, while other plays by fluke.

Now under investigation by the league would make official whether someone cheated or not in the league.

hope it helps
