Answer:

a)<em>the </em><em>process</em><em> </em><em>is </em><em>binary</em><em> fission</em>

<em>b)</em><em>The </em><em>stages </em><em>involved</em><em> </em><em>are:</em>

<em>The </em><em>parent</em><em> </em><em>cell </em><em>first </em><em>grows </em><em>bigger </em><em>by </em><em>increasing</em><em> </em><em>the amount</em><em> </em><em>of </em><em>cytoplasm</em>

<em>the </em><em>DNA </em><em>replicates </em><em>and </em><em>the </em><em>nucleus</em><em> </em><em>undergoes </em><em>mitosis</em><em>,</em><em> resulting</em><em> </em><em>in </em><em>the </em><em>formation</em><em> </em><em>of </em><em>two </em><em>daughter</em><em> </em><em>nuclei</em>

<em>the </em><em>cell </em><em>membrane</em><em> </em><em>constricts </em><em>thereby </em><em>dividing</em><em> </em><em>the </em><em>cytoplasm</em><em> </em><em>in </em><em>two </em><em>so </em><em>that </em><em>each </em><em>nucleus</em><em> </em><em>is </em><em>surrounded</em><em> </em><em>by </em><em>it's </em><em>own </em><em>cytoplasm</em>

<em>the </em><em>two </em><em>daughter </em><em>cells </em><em>separate.</em>

<em>c)</em><em>the </em><em>advantage</em><em> </em><em>is </em><em>that </em><em>offspring</em><em> </em><em>take </em><em>short </em><em>time to </em><em>mature</em>

<em>the </em><em>disadvantage</em><em> </em><em>is </em><em>that </em><em>it </em><em>leads </em><em>to </em><em>overcrowding</em><em> </em><em>and </em><em>competition</em><em> </em><em>for </em><em>resources</em><em>.</em>

<em>I </em><em>hope</em><em> this</em><em> helps</em>

What features of integrated pest management make it a good approach to preserving ecosystems?
alekssr [168]

Answer:

Allowing a small but controlled portion of a pest population to remain does less damage to ecosystems, soils, water, and air. Another feature of IPM would be making a habitat more complex, such as mazes, so it can slow the spread of parasites. No-till or low-till agriculture is another feature of IPM because this helps natural enemies of some pests to build up in the soil, whereas plowing destroys the habitats of these enemies.

Which ecosystem has more biodiversity EXPLAIN!
Gekata [30.6K]
The two richest ecosystems lie in tropical rainforests and coral reefs. On land, tropical rainforests contain many species variation with an abundance of species in bird, mammals, amphibians, and plants. While tropical rainforests occupy only 7 percent of the Earth’s land area, they contain over half of the world’s species. This may be because species richness tends to increase with decreased elevation, increasing solar exposure, and increased precipitation; that is, hot, rainy low-land areas have the most species. In contrast, deserts have low species variation because of low precipitation. On earth, water is majorly important the equation for life. Many of the species are genetically isolated because of habitat size and variation in the build of the land (mountains, equator location, etc) such as seen in the Galapagos islands and the Amazon rainforest, both near and in South America.

Hope this helps!
