based on the number of ATP generated during the electron transport chain for every one glucose molecule, how many atp would be g
OleMash [197]

Answer:

If 10 glucose molecules are broken down, 320 ATP molecules will be generated during the electron transport chain.

Explanation:

In the electron transport chain, high energy electrons travel across a series of proteins embedded in the inner mitochondrial membrane, releasing energy in the process.Hydrogen is pumped from the matrix into the intermembrane space, therefore an hydrogen ion gradient is formed across the inner membrane. These proton are then pumped back into the mitochondrial membrane where the synthesis of ATP from ATP synthase takes place.

In the electron transport chain, a total of 32 ATPs are generated per glucose molecule.

so if 10 glucose molecules are broken down:

1 glucose ⇒ 32 ATPs

10 glucose ⇒ 10*32

                       320 ATP molecules

" A single gene produces two different proteins, utilizing different exons. Produce the explanation"
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

Exons can be shuffled  independently known as exon shuffling. It can be done in various ways, leading to infinite number of combinations to discover new and meaningful coding sequences hence various proteins. Due to exon shuffling, evolution need not  occur only by the slow accumulation of point mutations but  might also move ahead by “quantum leaps” with new proteins  appearing in a single generation.

What type of relationship do humans and honeyguides have? Explain your response.
anyanavicka [17]
By following honeyguides (a species of bird), people are able to locate bee's nests to harvest honey. In fact, research now reveals that humans use special calls to solicit the help of honeyguides and that honeyguides actively recruit appropriate human partners. this relationship is a rare example of cooperation between humans and free living animals.

you're welcome.
