Corresponding sides are 6,10 8,24 10,26 now my question is these numbers out side the triangle or in side cuz if so in side u need the out side numbers to determine if is similar or not add the out side numbers then subtract it from 180 to get ur 3rd missing number in the triangle now if there more than 2 triangle wich of (how ever many u got) of triangles find the ones in wich have to the same numbers sooo for example if there's 3 triangles one big one medium and one large find the corresponding sides of the 3 triangles is step one then there should be a missing number in all three triangles add the to first in the triangle then subtract it from 180 to get the missing number then you can determine if the correspond or not then you need to take that outside measures that correspond and put them in the fraction then you will simplify it with the greatest number that can divide the two numbers in the fraction

Someone help me solve this problem
katrin [286]

Same-side interior angles where a transversal crosses parallel lines are supplementary:

  • 6y +4y = 180
  • 90 +5x = 180

The solutions to these equations can probably be done in your head:

  • y = 180/(6+4) = 18
  • x = (180-90)/5 = 18

The angles at the bottom of the figure, shown as different, are actually the same: 90°.

The angles at the top of the figure, shown as the same, are actually different: 108° on the left, 72° on the right.
