How do u solve 5x+3=4 <br> Y=-3x
kogti [31]
The information from the first equation gives you the information needed for the second. To solve the first equation you must rearrange the equation to isolate X. In order to do that you can first move the 3 to the other side of the equation by subtracting it from both sides (5x + 3 - 3 = 4 - 3) and then simplify that to (5x = 4 - 3) and further to (5x = 1). Then to move the 5 you must divide both sides by 5 so you get (5x/5 = 1/5) which can be simplified to (x = 1/5)

From this you can use the X value and input it into the second equation
Y = -3(1/5) and then solve for Y.

Hope this helps!

Find angle ADB of the equation
Aloiza [94]

Answer:

m\angle ADB = 59\°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

\angle BDC = 31\°

We need to find \angle ADB.

Solution:

Now we can see that given figure is a rectangle with diagonals drawn in it.

So by properties of rectangle which states that;

"All angles of a rectangle are 90°."

So we can say that;

\angle A = \angle B = \angle C = \angle D = 90\°

But

\angle D = \angle BDC + \angle ADB

Substituting the values we get;

31\°+\angle ADB = 90\°

Subtracting both side by  by 31 we get;

31\°+\angle ADB -31\°= 90\°-31\°\\\\m\angle ADB = 59\°

Hence m\angle ADB = 59\°.

Is it possible to use latex using the dollar syntax here?
natta225 [31]

Step-by-step explanation:

No, the LaTeX that the app uses starts and ends with the [ tex ] and [/ tex ] tags (without the spaces). In (1), simply remove the \latex tag and the integral will appear in embedded form:

\int_a^b f(x)\, dx

This is meant to maintain the line spacing. If you want show the full size of the integral (or in display mode), add the \displaystyle tag after the [ tex ] like this

[ tex ]\displaystyle \int_a^b f(x)\, dx[/ tex ]

and the integral will look like this

\displaystyle \int_a^b f(x)\, dx

after removing the spaces in the [tex] tag. This works also for sums and product of a series and limits.
