Hey there!

To solve this problem, add 1/10 and 3/5 . . .

LCD of 3/5 = 6/10

(1/10 should stay as it is so the equation will be 1/10 + 6/10)

1 + 6 = 7

The denominator is the same for both fractions, so your answer will be 7/10.

1/10 + 3/5 = 7/10 <-----

7/10 of the chocolate bar was eaten.

Hope this helps you.
Have a great day!

Let x1 = 12, y1 = 15, and y2 = 3. Let y vary inversely with x. Find x2.
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer:

x2 = 60

Step-by-step explanation:

If the variables x and y are inversely proportional, the product x * y is a constant.

So using x1 and y1 we can find the value of this constant:

x1 * y1 = k

12 * 15 = k

k = 180

Now, we can use the same constant to find x2:

x2 * y2 = k

x2 * 3 = 180

x2 = 180 / 3 = 60

So the value of x2 is 60.
