What type of trait in mendel's studies could vanish in one generation and reappear in the next generation?
stira [4]

Recessive traits often seem to disappear because two recessive alleles are needed to produce the recessive phenotype. They can skip a generation and then reappear if an individual inherits two copies of the recessive gene. Mendel's experiments revealed that phenotypes could be hidden in one generation, only to reemerge in subsequent generations.

Recessive traits disappear because recessive alleles can hide out in heterozygotes, allowing them to persist in gene pools and natural selection can only see the phenotype, not the genotype. While harmful recessive alleles will be selected against and it's almost impossible for recessive alleles to completely disappear from a gene pool.

All of the following are groups of vertebrae except ________, which is a curvature.
eimsori [14]

Answer:

The answer is Pelvic.

Explanation:

The following are groups of vertebrae: cervical, thoracic, lumbar. The pelvis is not part of this group. The pelvis is located at the bottom of the trunk. It is a funnel-shaped cavity (musculoskeletal) that narrows downward, limited by the sacral bone, the coccyx and the coxals, thus forming the pelvic girdle and the muscles of the lower abdominal wall and the peritoneum.

Cell division is complicated if you're doing mitosis or miosis, but i'll try to explain. During mitosis, the cell prepares to split in interphase by making copies or the DNA and organelles needed for two cells rather than one. The cell goes through metaphase, anaphase, and telephase which basically just prepares the cells to be separated and cytokinesis is the splitting of the cell membrane all together, making the cells two seperate ones.
