After watching the video on flooding, what would be a major change that can

Biology

Answer:

Both

Explanation:

Depends on what happened in that video. I would rewatch it and write about what the video said about flooding and relate it to the river. Could be an ice jam or something else slowing the flow of water suddenly opened up. A breaking dam? Flash floods from an abundance of rain. As the amount of water in the river increases, so does the flow rate. If the amount of water suddenly increases more than the river was used to/it could hold, it will flood.

Rewatch the video and see if this relates at all :)

If two organisms show a developmental homology you would also definently expect them to?
san4es73 [151]

If two organisms show a developmental homology you would also definitely expect them to share genetic homologies.

Homology is the similarity between two organisms. This similarity can be of body structures, physiology, etc. This homology is generally due to shared ancestral history between two organisms. For example, the wings of a bird and bats are homologous structures, this is because they have a common anatomy.

Genetic homology refers to the arrival from the same gene from a common ancestor. The same gene is shared between two organisms who may not be related in any other matter. Genetic homology can even be depicted by the sequences of a protein.

Intercostal nerves Group of answer choices are also known as cervical nerves. do not enter into a plexus and directly connect to
Natali [406]

Answer:

The correct answer is: do not enter into a plexus and directly connect to the structures they supply.

Explanation:

The anterior rami of the thoracic spinal nerves from T1 to T11 give birth to the intercostal nerves, which are part of the somatic nervous system.

The intercostal nerves supply the thoracic pleura and abdominal peritoneum, and they vary from the anterior rami of the other spinal nerves in that they each take their own path without forming a plexus, directly connecting to the structures they supply.

The intercostal nerves are derived from the somatic nervous system, unlike the autonomic nervous system nerves that innervate the visceral pleura of the thoracic cavity. They can govern muscle contractions and give sensory information about the skin and parietal pleura as a result of this. This explains why damage to the thoracic cavity's interior wall can be felt as a severe discomfort in the damaged area. Damage to the visceral pleura causes a pain that is not localized.
