Given that,

Alonzo is $120 in debt. He makes $15 per hour. He wants to have at least $75 left over after he has paid off his debt.

To find,

The inequality and the solution.

Solution,

Let he make $x per hour. Here, $120 is fixed. $15 is added per hour.

ATQ,

120 + 15x\ge 75

For atleast, we use \ge.

Subtract 120 from both sides.

120 + 15x-120\ge 75-120\\\\15x\ge -45\\\\x\ge -3

So, the required answer is greater than -3.

KATRIN_1 [288]

Set up an equation as following: 8.2 * 3.5 = 3.2 * x and solve for x.

8.2 * 3.5 = 28.7

28.7 = 3.2x

*Divide by 3.2 to isolate x*

x = 8.968 and rounded to nearest tenth -> x = 9

<h2>¡Hola!</h2>

Si dice que el valor de x es un entero entonces el número al dividirlo por 3 que es “3x” será el resultado un número entero:

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: { \sf40 \div 3 = 13.33}

La opción A) no da como resultado un número entero así que no es la respuesta.

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: { \sf41 \div 3 = 13.66}

La opción B) tampoco es la respuesta.

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: { \sf42 \div 3 = 14}

La opción C) si da como resultado un número entero pero veamos los demás:

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: { \sf43 \div 3 = 14.33}

La opción D) tampoco da como resultado un número entero.

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \sf{44 \div 3 = 14.66}

Y por último la opción E) no da como resultado un número entero así que el único que da como resultado un número entero es la opción C) y esa es la respuesta 42°.

\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \bf{\sf \rightarrow{C)\:42°} }

Entoces, el inciso Correcto es C)42°
