Nutrition is important in achieving total fitness because it involves eating the right balances of vitamins, minerals and fiber which are essential in maintaining fitness. In addition to physical exercise, nutrition is important in improving overall health and maintaining the right and appropriate weight. When it comes to total fitness, one must take care of the body, mind and spirit and nutrition is part of taking care of the body and mind.
According to the relationship between force and acceleration, described in Newton's 2nd law of motion, increasing the force of the object would also increase the objects acceleration in the same direction to which the force is applied. It essentially starts to move even faster, than it had been before. Since the object is accelerating it changing its speed at an even faster rate.
Circulation is provided by the cardiovascular system, including both the heart and the blood vessels. There are three major categories of blood vessels:
-The arteries (number 1) transport oxygen and nutrients to tissues.
-The veins (number 2), convey the wastes from the tissues.
-Capillaries: Only the capillaries are in close contact with the cells and allow exchanges between the blood and the interstitial fluid that bathes the cells (nutrients, gases and wastes).
