Genes, via their influences on morphology and physiology, create a framework within which the environment acts to shape the behavior of an individual animal. The environment can affect morphological and physiological development; in turn behavior develops as a result of that animal's shape and internal workings.

B is your answer

Answer:

A

Explanation:

Environmental factors determine all genetic traits. Why? So the organism that is gaining the trait has a better chance of survival or to be more specific a better chance at adapting to their environment. Let me give you an example, the long necks on a giraffe. The diet of a giraffe consist of mostly acacia leaves which are leaves that are on the top of a tree. This environmental factor is why giraffes have long neck so they can get to the leaves of the tree. If they did not have long necks giraffes probably would´nt survive

Now let me give you an example that is related to evolution

Evolution is the change in the characteristics of a species over several generations

An example of this happening can be shown in mosquitoes

People were using DDT (which is an insecticide used to kill bugs) on mosquitoes to harm them. Many of the mosquitoes had died but the remaining were able to produce offspring that had mutations. These mutations caused the mosquitoes to be resistant to the insecticide. This shows another example of environmental factors having an influence on genetic traits. The DDT spray was the environmental factor and the mosquito being able to produce offspring that were resistant the the insecticide is the outcome from the influence.

A newly discovered gene has two aleles a and a scientists hypothesize that the alleles show incomplete dominance
tatiyna
If scientists believe that the newly discovered gene has two alleles A and a and that the alleles show incomplete dominance, the best way to prove this is to look for subjects who are homozygous with respect to the different alleles. The offsprings will all have the genotype of Aa and if indeed, the alleles show incomplete the dominance, the traits of the first generation will not manifest completely but a mixture of two will.

What do the rib muscles and diaphragm have in common? Both aid in the expansion and relaxation of lungs. Both produce red blood ce
IrinaK [193]
The answer is that Both aid in the expansion and relaxation of lungs. Diaphragm and the rib muscles are vital in the breathing process. During inhalation the intercostal muscles contract, expanding the ribcage, the diaphragm contracts, pulling downwards to increase the volume of the chest, pressure inside the chest is lowered and air is sucked into the lungs. During exhalation the intercostal muscles relax, the ribcage drops inward and downwards, the diaphragm relaxes, moving back upwards, decreasing the volume of the chest, the pressure inside the chest increases and air is forced out.

Evolutionary theory contends that genetic ___________ is necessary and beneficial for humanity when there is an environmental ch
Anni [7]

Answer:

variation

Explanation:

Genetic variation is what makes us all unique as a result of subtle changes in our DNA.  The Theory of Evolution is a process in which organisms change over time as a result of adapting to their environment.  Charles Darwin came up with the term Survival of the fittest, in any environment plants and animals from the same species show natural variation in their physical characteristics, like neck lengths in giraffes.  Darwin suggested that the plants and animals best suited to the environment will survive and pass on their characteristics to their offspring. Over time, the characteristics of the surviving members of the species will become predominant.

Example: Peppered moth

In London in the 1800's, 98% of peppered moths had light colored bodies and only 2% were dark.  The light moths were the same color as the trees so they could easily hide from hungry birds and not get eaten.  The dark moths however were easy to see and were eaten.  Then came the factories and smoke of the industrial evolution and many trees turned black with soot and suddenly the dark moths were able to survive better as they now looked like the trees and the light colored moths were easier to spot and eat.  By 1895 the dark peppered moths made up 95% of the population and the light colored moths only 5%.  This is an example of natural selection, because of the gene that makes the moths dark, it allowed them to flourish when the environment changed, they adapted, reproduced and survived.
