Convert 22 ml in to liters
prisoha [69]

Answer:

0.022

Explanation:

milliter (ml) = 1 cubic centimeter (cc)= 0.001 liters (l) = 0.000001 cubic meters (m3).

1 ml = 0.061024 cubic inches (in3) ; 1 in3 = 16.4 ml.

1 ml = 0.000035 cubic feet (ft3); 1 ft3 = 28,317 ml.

1 ml = 2.64 x 10-4 U.S. gallons (gal); 1 gal = 4.55 x 103 ml.

A mixture with medium sized particles that do not settle out is called
Alexandra [31]

Answer: colloid

Explanation:

Colloids are solutions in which small sized particles are suspended throughout the solution as they do not settle own their own. Colloids are defined as the mixtures where the size of the particle is within the range of 2nm to 1000 nm. In these mixtures, physical boundary is seen between the dispersed phase and dispersed medium.

Colloids are solutions with particle size intermediate between true solutions and suspensions. Suspensions have large sized particles which settle when left undisturbed for sometime and thus can be filtered off easily. The particle size in colloids is less and hence they do not settle under the effect of gravity.

A person has 5.0 liters of blood which contains 95 mg of glucose per 100 ml. What is the total mass of glucose (in grams) in the
vampirchik [111]
Use conversion factors to calculate this answer. Since there are 1000 ml in a liter, this means that there is 95 mg of glucose in 0.1 liter. To add on, since there is 1000 mg in a gram, this means that there is 0.095 grams in 0.1 liters. 5 liters of blood is 0.1 x 50 = 5.0. Hence, you would need to multiply 0.095 x 50, which is equates to about 4.75 grams of glucose in 5.0 liters of blood.

Don’t forget the significant figures, 4.75 is rounded to 4.7 because the significant figures in this case is 2 sig figs (5.0 liters of blood).

How many significant figures are in this number? : 2.7 x 10^-3
Lady_Fox [76]

Answer:

2 significant figures i.e. 2 and 7.

Explanation:

We need to find the number of significant figures in the given number i.e. 2.7\cdot10^{-3}.

It has 2 significant figures i.e. 2 and 7.

It means the power of 10 doesn't count in the significant figures.

Hence, there are 2 significant figures.
