Unproportional. 60/10=6
90/20=4.5
120/30=4
150/40=3.75

Answer:

The rate of change is: as x increases by 10, y increases by 30. In other words, the rate of change is +30

Step-by-step explanation:

When calculating rate of change you see how much the y increases/decreases each time the x increases/decreases as we see, each time the x goes up by 10 the y goes up by 30.

SOLVE FOR X TO THE NEAREST TENTH
Genrish500 [490]

Answer:

x = 8.8

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you have to solve the side length for the smaller triangle.

c= \sqrt{ a^{2} +b^{2} }\\c= \sqrt{5^{2}+4^{2}  } \\\\c=\sqrt{25+16} \\c=\sqrt{41} \\c= 6.4\\

Now for the bigger square.

c= \sqrt{ a^{2} +b^{2} \\}    \\c = \sqrt{6.4^{2} +6^{2} } \\c= \sqrt{40.96+36} \\c= \sqrt{ 76.96}\\c= 8.77\\

Rounded to the nearest tenth = 8.8

A coral reef grows 0.17 m every week. How much does it grow in 8 weeks? Write your answer in millimeters
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]

ANSWER

Find out the how much does it grow in 8 weeks

To proof

As given

A coral reef grows 0.17 m every week.

now for the 8 weeks

coral reef grows in the 8 weeks = 8× 0.17

                                                      = 1.36 m

As

1 meter = 1000 millimeter

To convert  growth of  coral reef  in the millimeter

=  1.36 × 1000

= 1360 millimeter

Hence  1360 millimeter be the coral reef grows  in 8 weeks

Can someone please tell me how to get from that to that? Is it factorization or something? I’m really dumb
Ainat [17]

They multiplied the 4's to get 16.

For the X part, 1 of the X's got cancelled out.

So like this:

X divided by X² would leave you with an extra X.
