Ok So you Look at A Graph . You look at the last number and thats your starting Number on the Y access. You go up 5 blocks and plot a Point. Then you look at the -3x Thats a Negative number going down so your start from the 5 then go down 3 then to the right 1.

Hope this Helps

Always remember the slope-intercept form which is y=mx+b , m is the slope , b is the y-intercept and x,y are the variables. First graph your y intercept which is 5 then use the slope to plot your points. Your slope must be in fraction form so it would be -3 over 1. Since it is a negative slope instead of going up you will go down and to the right.

Use this formula to find all the solutions of the equation. (Round terms to four decimal places)
Misha Larkins [42]
I might be misreading something here but if:

x^5+243=0  subtract 243 from both sides

x^5=-243  raise both sides to the 1/5 power  (or take the fifth root of both sides)

x=-3

So there is only one solution, x=-3

How many ways are there to divide 4 men and 4 women into two groups of size 4 each?
Arisa [49]
You have 8 people, you have 2 groups of 4.

8!/4!4!
=(8*7*6*5*4*3*2)/(4*3*2*4*3*2)
=(8*7*6*5)/(4*3*2)
=7*6*5/3
=7*2*5
=70

It's been a few years since I've done this. If you haven't learned how to do this type of an equation yet, then I'm probably wrong.

Can someone solve this
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

f(h(-1)) = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = (x-4)/3

h(x) = 3x + 4

f(h(-1)) = ?

So first off we need to solve for h(-1):

h(x) = 3x + 4

h(-1) = 3(-1) + 4

h(-1) = 1

Next, we plug this value into the f(x) equation:

f(x) = (x-4)/3

f(1) = (1-4)/3

f(1) = -1

f(h(-1)) may look confusing but it is just f(x) with x being the resulting value for h(-1)

Thus we can say that f(h(-1)) is equal to -1
