The history of immigration to the United States is a continuing story of peoples from more populated continents, particularly Europe and also Africa and Asia, crossing oceans to the new land. Historians do not treat the first indigenous settlers as immigrants. Starting around 1600 British and other Europeans settled primarily on the east coast. Later Africans were brought as slaves. During the nation's history, the growing country experienced successive waves of immigration which rose and fell over time, particularly from Western Europe, with the cost of transoceanic transportation sometimes paid by travelers becoming indentured servants after their arrival in the New World. At other times, immigration rules became more restrictive. With the ending of numerical restrictions in 1965 and the advent of cheap air travel immigration has increased from Asia and Latin America, much of the latter "illegal." Attitudes toward immigrants have cycled back and forth between favorable and hostile since the 1790s.
Hey there!
It's all in the symbols. Here, we have an alphabet, 26 letters. It's not that way in China. They have many, many, different symbols, each for different things.
It's not that it's hard, it's that it's different and memorization is required. Also, it's much easier to learn languages when you grow up with them, as you obtain more knowledge than you ever will in your lifetime (for the most part) at the very young ages. Then, your brain is like a metaphorical sponge.
Hopefully this helped!
Reagan shaped the nation's agenda a lot during his presidency, but it eventually led a decline in the economy. First, Reagan persuaded Congress to reduce the top tax rate and index tax brackets to take inflation into account. Reagan's economic growth program, "supply side economics" relied on heavy interest rates to curb inflation and lower taxes. This would stimulate private investment and encourage people to work harder. Through what was dubbed "Reagonomics," employers shifted production overseas and took advantage of new techonologies to become more profitable. Reagan's policies resulted in considerable rise in economic inequality. The riches 1% of Americans benefited from economic expansion, while the poorer families suffered.
Hope it helps love
