Okay so here's what you do. The arrows mean the the sides are the same length so the > line is 20in. And then they cut this up into 2 triangles and a trapezoid. BUT If you look closely 1 of the Triangles and the Trapizoid make a Parallelogram. The formula for finding the area of a Paralellogram is just b*h. So then you just need to find the area of the other triangle which would be 8*20/2 (the formula is b*h/2 for triangles) and then you add those to answers together. (So it's 20*16+8*20)

Andrews [41]

Answer:  A. (x - 4, y - 2)

               B. (x + 7, y - 11)

Step-by-step explanation:

A) How do you get the x-coordinate of 3 to become a x-coordinate of -1?      by subtracting 4    -->    x - 4

   How do you get the y-coordinate of 5 to become a y-coordinate of 3?      by subtracting 2    -->    y - 2

The transformation is: (x - 4, y - 2)

B)  How do you get the x-coordinate of -4 to become an x-coordinate of 3?     by adding 7    -->    x + 7

    How do you get the y-coordinate of 11 to become a y-coordinate of 0?     by subtracting 11    -->    y - 11

The transformation is: (x + 7, y - 11)

If (x – 4) + 6 = 2 - (4 - 2x), then x =
A. -4
B. -2
C. 2
D. 4
blondinia [14]

Answer:

x=4

Step-by-step explanation:

Remove the parentheses and turn the 4-2x and make it into 4+2x candle the equal term -4 and should be left with x+6=2+2x then move the variable to the left and change the sign so it would be x-2x=2-6 and collect like terms so it would be -x=2-6 and then calculate that and get -x= -4

(sorry its alot)

If AB = BC = CA, what is m1?
Alborosie

Answer:

60°

Step-by-step explanation:

All the side lengths of the triangle have the same measurement. This makes it an equilateral triangle. By the definition of an equilateral triangle, all the angles are congruent, therefore all their measurements are the same. There are 3 total angles in a triangle, and the total sum of the angel measurements of a triangle is 180. Divide 180 with 3:

180/3 = 60

60° is your answer.
