Answer: one solution

Step-by-step explanation:

CONCEPT:

- One solution is when the final variable would be able to find a solution.

- Infinite solution is when the equations result in 0=0, meaning any number will fit

- No solution is when the equation results in both sides on equal.

SOLVE:

Given

3/4x-7=3(1/6x+1)

Expand Parenthesis

3/4x-7=1/2+3

Multiply both sides by the LCM of fractions (Least Common Multiple)

4(3/4x-7)=4(1/2x+3)

3x-28=2x+12

Subtract both sides by 2x

3x-28-2x=2x+12-2x

x-28=12

Add both sides by 28

x-28+28=12+28

x=40

Since we are able to get exactly one solution, there is only one solution.

Hope this helps!! :)

HELP ME PLEASE ITS DUE RN! Consider the line and triangles in the diagram, which of the following statements explains the relati
gregori [183]

Answer:

B) The triangles are similar and have the same ratios for the height to the base (\frac{2}{3} =\frac{4}{6} ). The slope of the line is \frac{2}{3}.

Step-by-step explanation:

The triangles share the ratio (\frac{2}{3} =\frac{4}{6} ), and the slope of \frac{2}{3}. This narrows down the options to either A or B. But, the difference between the options are the words "similar and congruent." Congruent means that the triangles are exactly the same shape and size. Similar means that they share a shape but are different sizes. The triangles are similar.

Hope it helps!

What formula can we use to find the surface area of a rectangular prism?
saveliy_v [14]

Answer:

○ \displaystyle SA = 2lw + 2lh + 2wh

Explanation:

A rectangle has four right angles, including two pairs of congruent edges, only containing two dimensions – <em>height</em> and <em>length</em>. Therefore, going three-dimensional, a <em>rectangular prism</em> has three dimensions – <em>width</em>, <em>height</em>, <em>length</em>. With this information, you should know what the answer is.

I am joyous to assist you at any time.

In what ratio does the points (2,-5) divide the line segment A(-3,5) and B(4,-9)
Strike441 [17]

Your question has been heard loud and clear.

let the ratio be m:n

From section formula

(-3n + 4m)/(m+n) = 2

-3n + 4m = 2m+2n

5n = 2m

m/n = 5/2

m:n = 5:2
