Please help me! The i is an imaginary number<br><br> (9+4i)^2
beks73 [17]
Answer: 2500

Explanation: I turned the I into a 1 and it turned into a 41 so I added 9+41 which is 50. Then I multiplied 50 by 50 because of the ^2 which gave me 2500. I’m assuming that you can put whatever number as a replacement for the I. I’m sorry if this answer isn’t right.

Where in the real-world is the Pascal Triangle used? Provide an example.
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

There are many colored pebbles to choose from out of the driveway. Karmin could not decide what one he wanted for his school project. So he took the best looking 4 from the driveway. 3 of them are now his backups.

You use this tequnic (sorry I can't spell) almost everyday. When ever you think about how much of something to take, you could be using this Pascal Triangle.

I hope this helped.

Micheal solved this inequality as shown: step 1: -6(x + 3) + 10 &lt; -2 step 2: -6x - 18 + 10 &lt; -2 step 3: -6x - 8 &lt; -2 st
Anastaziya [24]
<h3>Answer:   addition property of inequality</h3>

================================================

Explanation:

These are the steps to focus on

step 3: -6x - 8 < -2

step 4: -6x < 6

The move from the third step to the fourth step has us adding 8 to both sides. Therefore, we use the addition property of inequality.

That property has four forms

  1. If a > b then a + c > b+c
  2. If a < b then a+c < b+c
  3. If a \ge b then a + c \ge b+c
  4. If a \le b then a+c \le b+c

It's similar to the idea of starting with a = b, then adding c to both sides to get a+c = b+c

We add the same thing to both sides to keep things balanced.

Find dy/dx using first principle<br>x+1/x
JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

The derivative of the function is:

f'(x)=1-\frac{1}{x^{2}}

Step-by-step explanation:

The first principle is given by:

f'(x)=\frac{dy}{dx}=lim_{h\rightarrow 0}\frac{f(x+h)-f(x)}{h}

The function here is:

f(x)=x+\frac{1}{x}

Now, using the first principle we have:

f'(x)=lim_{h\rightarrow 0}\frac{(x+h)+\frac{1}{(x+h)}-x-\frac{1}{x}}{h}

=lim_{h\rightarrow 0}\frac{h+\frac{1}{(x+h)}-\frac{1}{x}}{h}

=lim_{h\rightarrow 0}\frac{h-\frac{h}{x(x+h)}}{h}

=lim_{h\rightarrow 0}\frac{h(1-\frac{1}{x(x+h)})}{h}

=lim_{h\rightarrow 0}1-\frac{1}{x(x+h)}

=1-\frac{1}{x^{2}}

Therefore, the derivative of the function is:

f'(x)=1-\frac{1}{x^{2}}

I hope it helps you!
