Answer:

As the liquid water gains energy in the form of temperature, the kinetic energy of the particles increase, this causes that some bonds "break".

Now, when this happens in the top of the water (where the pressure is smaller) some of the particles can "escape" the water, and form this "mist" that you can see, this is because actually the temperature of change of phase depends on the pressure, so in the top of the water there are less pressure keeping the particles in place, and they need smaller temperature to change of phase.

When a liquid is heated, the molecules gain kinetic energy. As the liquid begins to boil they have enough energy to break the intermolecular attractions between their neighbors. This happens first at the surface before the volume below has enough energy to boil. Thus you see high energy water molecules escaping from the surface as mist.

4) Explain which electric charges attract and which electric charges repel (push away)
DaniilM [7]

Explanation:

According to the fundamental law of electrostatics, like charges which are ( only positive or only negative charges) repel while unlike charges which are ( positive and negative charges ) attract each other.

that is: ( +++++ ++++++) they repel

while ( +++++++ ———) they attract

Which of the following models shows how unpredictable electrons are?
Fantom [35]

D

The exact location of electrons in electron shells of atoms cannot be exactly ascertained. This is why VSPER atomic models represent the position of electrons (s, p, d, & f) using the probability of where they would most be expected to be found.

Explanation:

This is because merely observing electrons changes their behavior. Remember that to observe something one has to shine light on it so it bounces back to the eye. Due to the negligible mass of electrons, mere photons of light will change their direction of movement, spin or other behaviors/properties.

A balloon drifts 50 m toward the east in 6 s; then the wind suddenly changes and the balloon flies 30 m toward the west in the n
dybincka [34]
Displacement of an object is equal to distance from starting point to end point.

Let's use positive numbers for movement towards east and negative numbers fro movements towards west. First movement is +50m, second movement is -30m. We add these numbers to find displacement.
d=+50m-30m \\ d=20m

Total displacement is 20m towards east.
