Answer:

p = 99 - y OR 99 - y = p

explanation:

day 1 = 37
day 2 = 37
day 3 = 37
day 4 = Y
day 5 = P

In the first 3 days dylan read 111 pages (37 x 3) that means he would of had to have to read 99 pages on days 4 & 5 altogether.

substitute what we know :-

y + p = 99

switch the equation round to show that we are trying to find the number of pages on day 5 :-

p = 99 - y

Anyone know how to do this?

H(x) = x - 5

However, it had a domain of all real numbers such that x does not equal 3, since that would cause you to divide by 0.

A half-circle is joined to an equilateral triangle with side lengths of 12 units. What is the perimeter of the resulting shape?
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

P = 42.84  cm

Step-by-step explanation:

A half-circle is joined to an equilateral triangle with side lengths of 12 units.

We need to find the perimeter of the resulting shape.

The perimeter of the half cirle is πr.

The diameter of the circle is 12. It means radius is 6 units.

An equilateral triangle has 3 equal sides. So, perimeter of the triangle is given by :

P = πr  + 12 +12

= 3.14(6) + 24

= 42.84  cm

Hence, the perimeter of the resulting shape is 42.84  cm.
