Separation of powers can be defined as division of government responsibilities into various sections to avoid one section of the government having or exercising much power over the other one, to avoid concentration of power to one sector of the government. The legislature makes the law, the Presidency checks the law and veto's it, the supreme court decides if it's constitutional. Having all the arms of government lean on the other for performance and the power separated.
