Animals should not be used for testing. We as humans can be conceited and believe that we rule the world as we have human rights. however, the animal rights are also immensely important. Why should we get to make all of the decisions of life and death for other people or animals? There is a plethora of research examples that elucidate that testing on animals led to permanent damage to their psychological or physical well-being this is not something we humans should have the power to inflict on other animals. For an example, Harlow’s study on monkeys did lead to some beneficial information that could be taken from the study however, the test subjects ended up not being able to form relationships with other monkeys and breed and take care of their offspring when they grew older. Human's interference otherwise known as animal testing caused this permanent change that restricted the abilities of the monkey in an unchangeable way.
