Find the rate of change from (4, 12) to (7, 17)

Rate of Change = 5/3.
Also called slope, or rise over run.
To find the rate of change you would do y1 - y2 / x1 - x2. You could also do y2 - y1 / x2 - x1.
For this, you would do 17-12 / 7 - 4. Which is equal to 5/3.

HELP ASAP PLS.
Sindrei [870]

Step-by-step explanation:

I have no idea if I'm doing it right but my guess would be to take the values that we get from f(x) and g(x) when x = 1. Therefore we get that f(x) is equal to 4 and g(x) is equal to -1. We than just do f/g which is 4/-1 which gives us the final answer of -4 which is option B.

Answer: Option B, -4

Given: Q=7m + 3n, R= 11 - 2m, S= n + 5, and T= -m - 3n + 8

simplify R - [S + T]
Soloha48 [4]
R = 11-2m
S = n+5
T = -m-3n+8
---------------------------
Add up S and T to get...
S+T = (n+5)+(-m-3n+8)
S+T = n+5-m-3n+8
S+T = -m+(n-3n)+(5+8)
S+T = -m+(1n-3n)+(5+8)
S+T = -m+(-2n)+(13)
S+T = -m-2n+13
---------------------------
Subtract that result from R
R - [S + T]
11-2m - [-m-2n+13]
11-2m +m+2n-13
(-2m+m) + (2n) + (11-13)
(-2m+1m) + (2n) + (11-13)
(-1m) + (2n) + (-2)
-m + 2n - 2
---------------------------
---------------------------
The final answer is -m + 2n - 2

Keisha bakes a pan of brownies for family picnic. She takes 1/2 of the brownies to the picnic. At the picnic, her family eats 3/
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

Keisha has 1/8th of the brownie pan that she brings back.

Step-by-step explanation:

To start, take a whole pan and subtract the 1/2 she left at home and the 3/8 that her family ate.

1 - 1/2 - 3/8 = Leftover

We also need to give them common denominators to complete the action.

8/8 - 4/8 - 3/8 = Leftover

1/8 = Leftover
