First  step: convert   22.4%  into   fraction
that  is  22.4/100  which  is equivalent  to 0.224
The  mass  of Cucl2  contained  in  75.85  of  22.4%  by  mass  of   solution  of  CUcl2 in  water is   therefore,
0.224 x75.85=16.99g
alternatively
75.85 --->100%
      ?        22.4%
by cross  multiplication =(22.4 x 75.85)/100 =16.99g

How many liters of oxygen gas, at standard temperature and pressure, will react with 35.4 grams of calcium metal? Show all of th
Margaret [11]
Answer: 19.8 l

Explanation:

1) Chemical equation:

2Ca + O₂ → 2CaO

2) Mole ratios: 2 mol Ca : 1 mol O₂ : 2 mol CaO

3) Convert 35.4 g of Ca to moles:

n = mass in grams / molar mass = 35.4 g / 40.1 g/mol = 0.883 mol

4) Volume proportion: 1 mol of gas at STP = 22.4 l

1 mol at STP              0.883 mol at STP

--------------------- = ------------------------------

22.4 l                                      x

⇒ x = 0.883 mol × 22.4 l / 1 mol = 19.8 l ← answer

Find the molar mass of AI(NO3)3?<br><br> Explain plz!
NeX [460]

Answer:

212.996 or 213 approx.

hope it helps.

Molar mass of Al - 27

Molar mass of N - 14

Molar mass of O - 16

so, the molar mass of (No3)3 will be (14+16×3)3 which is equals to 186.

so, Molar mass of Al(No3)3 will be 186+27 = 213.

How many moles are in 0.821g of lead?
Ivenika [448]

Answer:

3.96 × 10⁻³ mol Pb

Explanation:

Step 1: Find molar mass

Pb (Lead) - 207.2 g/mol

Step 2: Use Dimensional Analysis

0.821 \hspace{2} g \hspace{2} Pb(\frac{1 \hspace{2} mol \hspace{2} Pb}{207.2 \hspace{2} g \hspace{2} Pb} ) = 0.003962 mol Pb

Step 3: Simplify

We have 3 sig figs

0.003962 mol Pb ≈ 0.00396 mol Pb

0.00396 mol Pb = 3.96 × 10⁻³ mol Pb
