Y = 10x

I know this is the answer because for each plot that is on the graph it goes up 10 points. That means that the slope would be 10x. Two of the answers both have a number after the X meaning that there would have to be a Y-Intercept but the graph does not show this so that rules out Options 1 and 2. Option 4 doesn't apply because it is not the verticle scale and also for every 10 units that go up the time one moves up 1 unit ruling out Option 4. That leaves the only answer to be Option 3: Y = 10x.

Hope this helps and have a nice day.

Y and x have a proportional relationship, and y = 7 when x = 2. What is the value of x when y = 21?
RSB [31]
Y and x have a relationship that is directly proportional;
y = 7 when x = 2
when y = 21 and x = ?
y : x
7 : 2
if we multiply 7 wit 3, the answer is 21
3 x 7 : 2 x 3
21 : 6
So, when y = 21, x = 6

Brian flips a fair coin 3 times. What is the probability of getting 3 heads?
earnstyle [38]

If Brain flips a coin 3 times the probability of getting 3 heads is 0.125.

The given statement is Brian flips a fair coin 3 times.

We need to find the probability of getting 3 heads.

What is probability?

Probability refers to possibility. A random event's occurrence is the subject of this field of mathematics. The range of the value is 0 to 1.

The possible outcomes are {HHH, THH, HTH, HHT, TTH, THT, HTT, TTT}.

Total number of outcomes = 8

The number of favourable outcomes =1

So, the probability of getting 3 heads = 1/8 = 0.125

Hence, if Brain flips a coin 3 times the probability of getting 3 heads is 0.125.

What is the arc length of arc CD in the circle below? Circle A is shown with a radius labeled 15 feet and a central angle marked
Lesechka [4]
Arc length = angle (in rad!!) * radius:

45 degree = pi / 4 rad

Arc length = pi/ 4 * 15 = 15/4*pi feet or approx. 11.781 feet

Also in this case only, 45 degrees is 1/8 of the whole circle, so Arc length = 2pir/8 = pi/4*r, but only this case. the first formula always works!
