Which of the following is the equation of a line that passed though the points (2,5) and (4,3)
STatiana [176]

The correct answer is C as it has the same line of equation. We can make this clear by verifying that these two points make the same equation or not. So as we can see if we calculate the gradient using the formula y2 - y1 / x2 - x1.

As we now know that the gradient is -1. We can simply put any one point in the equation y - y1 = m(x - x1) to get the line of equation. WHen we calculate the line of equation it come out to be y = -x + 7

How do you do question number 5? If you do it can you please explain how to do it? Thank you!!
erik [133]
F(-3) = 4(-3) - 3 = -12 - 3 = -15.
H(2) = -5(2) + 7 = -10 + 7 = -3.

F(-3) + H(2) = -15 + -3 = -18.

The solution is -18.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given -

A refrigerator contains 50 pieces of fruit: 6 apples, 5 oranges, 10 bananas, 3 pears, 7 peaches, 11 plums, and 8 mangos .

Total no of fruit = 50

The probability that you will pull a banana on the first try and an apple on the second try = \frac{10}{50} \times \frac{6}{50}

                  =  \frac{6}{250}

                  = .024

xenn [34]

Answer: A. 36 small cubes

B. 36 (small ft)^3

9/16 ft^3

Step-by-step explanation:

A. 2 1/4 * 1 * 1/4 =

(8+1)/4 * 1/4=

9/4*1/4=9/16.

Small cube: 1/4*1/4*1/4=1/64

9/16=

9*4/(16*4)=36/64

36/64 / 1/64=

36/64 * 64=36 small cubes

B. 36 small cubes ==> 36 (small ft)^3

2 1/4 * 1 * 1/4 =

(8+1)/4 * 1/4=

9/4*1/4=9/16 ft^3
