When a seed is planted, it gets nourishment from the storage tissues in the seeds. The storage tissues could be in the cotyledon, peristem or endosperm. The storage tissue contain carbohydrates proteins,and fats content. When the embryo develops into a young plant with young roots, the plant then draws nutrients from the soil.
I took the test and got it correct and the explanation is that the watershed will flow into more water which spreads that pollution and as it flows could pick up more pollution.
