He bought 200 masks.
And 1 mask costs Rs. 5. So for the equation you do...

1 mask = Rs. 5
200 masks = x(unknown)

➡️ x = Rs. 5 * 200 masks/ 1 mask

➡️ x = 1,000/1

➡️ x = Rs. 1,000

At what point does the line given by the following equation cross the y-axis?
QveST [7]
Pretty sure the answer is D:

Because the equation is in the format y=mx+c (c being the y intercept), we know that the y intercept (or where the line will cross the y axis) will be -9.

B also says -9 but we have to be careful because it states that the x axis is -9 rather than the y axis.

Hope that helped you understand.

The temperature that milk is pasteurised to kill off most germs:
Ipatiy [6.2K]

Answer:

160 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

Conventionally, milk is pasteurized, or heated at high temperatures to kill harmful germs, at roughly 160 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 seconds. While pasteurization kills most germs, it does not wipe out bacterial spores, the dormant versions of the germs, which are extremely resistant to any form of destruction.

Which of the following equations could be used to solve for the tenth term of the following sequence? 15, 13, 11, 9, ...
kifflom [539]
This is an arithmetic sequence, where the first term (a) is 15 and the common difference (d) is -2.
The general formula for the nth term of an arithmetic sequence is:
n_{th\ term} =a+(n-1)d
Therefore the required equation is:
10_{th} \ term=15+(10-1)\times-2
