I agree to this statement. This is because one organism benefits the interaction and the other organism is neither harm or benefited. This is called as commensalism because human befits from the gray wolf population but they are neither benefited nor harm.

The DNA sense strand for a particular amino acid is 5′-ATG-3′. What RNA sequence would be transcribed for this codon, what tRNA
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

RNA sequence- 5' AUG 3',

tRNA anticodon- 3' UAC 5'

Amino acid- methionine

Explanation:

DNA contains two strands of sense and antisense. The mRNA sequence is produced by the antisense strand of DNA. So if the DNA sense strand has ATG sequence then according to the complementary base pairing the sequence against it would be 3' TAC 5'.

In RNA in place of thymine, Uracil comes so here according to complementary base pairing rule the sequence of codon in RNA would be 5' AUG 3'. As tRNA contains anticodon sequence which is complementary to mRNA codon sequence therefore the anticodon sequence would be 3' UAC 5'.

Every triplet codon in mRNA codes for a particular amino acid and AUG codon is called start codon which codes for methionine. So methionine would be added against AUG codon.

A _____ is a substance that has an unpaired electron and, as a result, can damage vulnerable compounds, such as DNA.
amid [387]

Answer:

Answer is free radical.

Explanation:

The free radical is known to be a product resulting from the metabolism of oxygen, that is , they are formed when oxygen splits into single atom. The free radical causes serious damage to the body , this process is known as the oxidative stress.

Note that , the activity of the free radical is that they seek out other electron to becoming a pair, and this is dangerous to the body.

The body can make use of the antioxidants to counter the oxidative stress.

A plant that was grown in the dark continuously would: ________.
inna [77]

Answer:

c. not be able to split water to provide NADH.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis, which is the process by which plant species obtain their energy, occurs in two stages viz: light dependent phase and light independent phase. The light dependent phase of photosynthesis requires the energy from sunlight, which is captured by the chlorophyll pigments in the leaves of the plant.

The light energy captured by the chlorophyll is used to split water molecule in a process called PHOTOLYSIS OF WATER. Overall, ATP and NADH (electron donor) are products of the light dependent stage, which enters the next stage to complete the photosynthetic process.

Therefore, a plant that was grown in the dark i.e. no access to light, continuously would not be able to capture light energy and hence not be able to split water to provide NADH.
