Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

The fine details surrounding the invention of one of the United States' favorite snack foods are somewhat hazy. There are several different claims on how the potato chip was invented, but some evidence shows a man named George Crum, a cook and restaurateur was said to have come up with the idea for the tasty crisp.

Born by the name of George Speck in 1824 in Saratoga Lake, New York, Crum was the son of an African American father and Native American mother, a member of the Huron tribe. He professionally adopted the name "Crum," as it was the name his father used in his career as a jockey. As a young man, Crum worked as a guide in the Adirondack Mountains and as an Indian trader. Eventually, he came to realize that he possessed exceptional talent in the culinary arts.

yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

UCS = chocolate chip cookies

CS = the smell

UCR = the smell of chocolate cookies

CR = the smell of chocolate chips cookies makes you happier

Explanation:

Classical conditioning has three basic stages. The first stage is before conditioning stage in which the unconditioned stimulus (UCS) produces a unlearned response, also called the unconditioned response (UCR. This response is natural.

The second stage is the "during conditioning stage" and it involves a stimulus producing no response and has an association with the unconditioned stimulus, which now becomes the conditioned stimulus (CS).

The third and final stage is the "after conditioning" stage and in this stage the CS is now associated with the UCS to produce a Conditioned response (CR).

From the example, the Unconditioned Stimulus (UCS) is the chocolate chip cookies which produces an unlearned response of cheering you up.

The conditioned stimulus is the smell of the chocolate which is now associated with the UCS to become the CS.

The Unconditioned response is the smell f the chocolate chip cookies, which the conditioned response is the smell of the chocolate chip cookies that makes you happy. The happiness is the conditioned response. You are not used feeling happy once you perceive the smell of chocolate chip cookies.

Answer:

A filter question

Explanation:

Filter questions is a form of survey questionnaire, in which the questions are presented in such a way that, participants only answer questions that are applicable to them, or related to their conditions only, which will make them not to answer questions that do not relate to them.

For example, when a participants answer “yes” to filter questions, they are then asked more detailed follow-up questions, otherwise, respondents who give “no” answers, are not questioned further on the topic.

Hence, in this case, because of the sensitivity involved in the issue of assault, it is best to establish victimization with FILTER QUESTION.
