Arabic was the official language of the empire and as the number of people under Islamic control grew, more people learned it. In social aspect, Al-Ma'mun founded The House of Wisdom in Baghdad.In intellectual part, <span>Al-Razi, a skillful surgeon, is the most well-known of the doctors during Islam's Golden Age. </span>
